WooCommerce

Live catalog, in-chat cart, order lookup, and optional post-purchase actions for WooCommerce stores — all through the Agentmatica for WordPress companion plugin.

Prerequisites

  1. Install and activate Agentmatica for WordPress on the store. WooCommerce is detected automatically; there is no separate toggle.
  2. Connect the site in Agent → Integrations → WordPress. On most sites the crawler finds the plugin's MCP endpoint and offers to connect it for you; otherwise use Detect MCP or paste the integration token. See WordPress.
  3. Install the widget on the store with the snippet from Deploy.

What the agent can do

  • Search the catalog and show products as cards with image, price, and link — the agent adds only a short intro.
  • Build a cart with variants and quantities and hand the visitor a checkout link.
  • Look up orders — guests verify with order number plus email; logged-in store customers are recognized automatically and are not asked again in the same conversation.
  • Post-purchase actions — cancel, change address, or request a return, each individually enabled (below).

Post-purchase actions

On the WordPress card, once the plugin is connected, a Post-purchase block lists three write actions. All are off by default:

  • Cancel unfulfilled orders — choose Refund original payment (default) or Cancel without refund.
  • Update shipping address on unfulfilled orders. The Same region only sub-toggle (on by default) refuses moves to a different country or state so shipping costs and taxes stay valid.
  • Return requests on fulfilled orders.

Every write action runs only for a visitor who is logged in to their store account, and only after the agent has summarized the change and the visitor has confirmed it in the chat. Guests get read-only order status, or an escalation to your team when they ask for a change.

Where the data lives

Order data is read live from your store through the plugin; nothing is copied into the knowledge base. Product data can additionally be summarized into the Inventory map on the Knowledge sources page so the agent understands your taxonomy, price bands, and cross-sell rules — see Knowledge base.

Permissions. The integration token issued by the plugin scopes what the agent can touch. Enabling a post-purchase action here does not grant broader WordPress capabilities — product edits and order administration are never exposed to chat.
